Barka II Power and Desalination Plant

The Barka II Power and Desalination Plant is located approximately 50km northwest of Muscat on the Arabian Peninsula. The Barka facility is owned by SMN Barka Power Company SAOC, who are a subsidiary of SMN Power Holding Company Limited, which is itself owned by entities of ENGIE of France, Mubadala of Abu Dhabi (UAE) and National Trading Company of Oman.

Al Rusail Power Plant

Al Rusail Power Station is located 40 km west of Muscat in the Rusail Industrial Park and is owned by Al Rusail Power Company SAOC, another subsidiary of SMN Power Holding Company Limited. SMN and STOMO have entered into an Operation and Maintenance Agreement whereby STOMO assumes the operational and maintenance responsibility of the station for a period of fifteen years.

Sohar I Power and Desalination Plant

The Sohar I Power and Desalination plant is located approximately 200km from Muscat on the Batinah Coast of the Sultanate of Oman. The Sohar Power and Desalination Plant is a publicly traded facility fully owned by Sohar Power Company SAOG (Sohar Power). Sohar Power and STOMO have entered into an Operation and Maintenance Agreement

Barka III Power Plant

Barka III Combined Cycle Power Plant is located approximately 50kms northwest of Muscat on the Arabian Peninsula beside the Barka II IPWP. The plant is owned by AlSuwadi Power Co., which is a consortium of ENGIE as a lead founder, Multitech LLC of Oman, Sojitz Corporation of Japan, Shikoku Electric Company of Japan, and Oman’s Public Authority for Social Insurance.

Sohar II Power Plant

Sohar II Combined Cycle Power Plant is located approximately 200 kilometres from Muscat on the Batinah Coast of Oman, beside the Sohar I IPWP. The plant is solely owned by the Al-Batinah Power Company. STOMO has entered into an Operation and Maintenance Agreement whereby STOMO assumes the responsibility of operation and maintenance of the station for a period of fifteen years.
